HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!!!!!
I’m headed back to New Mexico for Thanksgiving again. The long road back home awaits me. It’s a trip I’ve made a million times (it seems), and I will probably make a million times more. I pray you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Make sure and eat a couple of turkey legs for me, but before you grub, before you watch the Broncos beat the Cowboys (sorry Dad) and even before family and friends, remember to “Put Him First” on this day of giving thanks.
Here’s my 2nd annual list of things I’m thankful for. Some serious, some funny, some absurd and some just random things that popped into my head. They’re listed in no particular order (except the first one), so enjoy and make sure you post what you’re thankful for on our message board. God Bless.

- My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, God my Father and the Holy Spirit. (Of course I had to “Put Him First”)
- My pen and my guitar - instruments God has given me to bring glory to His Name.
- Gangsta Rap.
- Victory Outreach and Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni - I’m so grateful to be a part of this great ministry.
- My Pastor Ernie, Sister Irma and the whole Lopez family (and all of VO Houston) - for believing in me despite all my mistakes and failures and giving me an opportunity to serve God with you.
- The Ability to Blink.
- The United States of America.
- Lemon Meringue Pie.
- Fire Extinguishers – RIGHT CELINA!!!!!
- PutHimFirst.com – it has truly been a blessing to write for this site.
- My friends all over the world who still love me, even though I don’t always email them back or return their phone calls.
- Checkers.
- Wearing sunglasses cuz my future looks so bright.
- Everyone who reads this column from week to week. I’d love to mention every one of you by name, but that would take forever. Just know that I really do appreciate you all. You’re the ones that keep me writing every week.
- The turkey on our front page, I nicknamed him “Gabe Jr.”
- Christmas Presents from everyone that reads this column (Hint, Hint).

- Warm Fuzzy Feelings.
- My Job and all the people I work with.

- All my relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. - I know a lot of you read this column every week and I pray that you continually be blessed and that God continues to do that work in your life.

- My brother Josh - Keep on Rocking in your Chair, watch out for shadows, keep your dog on the lawn and when eating remember to use a spoon. Loveya bro. Continue to shine your light and be that example He’s called you to be. SHOUT BACK!!!!!
