Hello everybody. We just got back from Albuquerque, New Mexico where we did a concert with T-Bone. God moved in a powerful way. My boys, Bless’t, CRS and Enock opened up for T-Bone and put on an awesome show. We want to thank Pastor Danny, Pastor Eddie and everyone in Buque for allowing us the opportunity to come and minister through music. We had a great time and hope to be back soon.
God did a lot in my life over the weekend. He confirmed a lot of things about where I’m going and what He’s called me to do. He also showed me certain areas in my life where I need to work on. Pastor Danny Sanchez (Victory Outreach Albuquerque) preached a message about “Change” and it really ministered to my life. He was talking about how we as Christians need to constantly be changing. If we are not willing to change, God can only take us so far.
I am a changed man. No longer do I have to live under the bondage of sin. No longer do I have to worry about where I’m going or what I’m going to do. My life is in God’s hands. I have been transformed by the renewing of my mind through Christ Jesus, who has saved me and delivered me and given me life more abundantly (Romans 12:2).
Do you remember that day Christ came into your life? Do you remember the day you made that first altar call? Do you remember where you were before Jesus came into your life? Honestly, I can’t remember the exact day I got “saved”. I grew up in a Christian home and was raised in church life, so at a very young age I knew about God and knew that I would always serve Him. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my slips and falls along the way, but God has always been faithful to forgive. Actually it seems like I’ve given my life to Christ like over a thousand times. I still find myself at that altar because I know that I am far from arriving.
True change comes when we surrender our desires, our will, our lives, our everything to God. It’s in that place of surrender when true “transformation” takes place. God doesn’t ask us to get our lives right before we come to Him, He let’s us come as broken vessels. He let’s us come just as we are. After salvation, then the change begins and we must continue to let Him change our hearts, our minds, our souls, so we can be more like Him.
Continue to let that “transformation” take place in your life so the old man dies and the new man is resurrected.
